Through the united efforts of the brethren from the Ecclesiastical District of Pampanga North, a total of 9,656 guests heard the Good News of salvation during the evangelical missions held by all congregations in the district on June 30, 2023.
The said number of guests included the friends, relatives, and loved ones whom the brethren invited to their respective places of worship with the noble intention of sharing with them the biblical truths that lead to salvation on Judgment Day.
Brother Bright Ballesteros, the district supervising minister, led all ministers designated to preach the words of God in the district-wide event. Officiating the evangelistic gathering at the Calulut Local Congregation’s house of worship, he taught from the Bible about the importance of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) to people’s lives, especially regarding salvation.
“Entering or joining the Church Of Christ is commanded by the Lord Jesus Christ,” said Brother Ballesteros. “And remaining obedient to God’s commandments taught by Christ until the end is the guarantee of receiving salvation.”
One of those commandments is sharing the true Christian faith, which the brethren from Pampanga North fulfilled during their evangelical mission. Abner Delfin from the Calulut brought more than 60 guests. “I am trying to invite as many people as I can so that they too can be saved when Judgment Day comes, especially my loved ones,” he said. “That there is only one true God, the Father, and Christ is man in nature … are some [of the truths] I wanted people to know.”
Mercy Tayag, a guest of the Calulut Congregation, said she noticed that “ the minister read the words of God from the Bible. When there are questions, they read the answers from the Bible.”
“I have various things to know about my salvation,” Conchita Cabuso, also a guest of Calulut brethren, said. “I want to continue listening to learn more of the teachings taught in the Church Of Christ.”— With reports from Myn Tinio of INC News Section
