On March 25, 2022, the Ecclesiastical District of Pampanga West, in the Philippines, swore in additional Church officers from all over the district. With this development, the district gets additional manpower to help care for the spiritual welfare of brethren under its care.

The house of worship of the Local Congregation of Lubao served as the host site from where Brother Randy Samson, the district supervising minister, led the event. The houses of worship of other local congregations in the district served as remote sites.

Before the oathtaking of new officers, Brother Samson preached a Bible-based lesson showing how blessed Church officers are. He also reminded them that God expects them to fulfill their duties wholeheartedly and with devotion. After the homily, the new officers were sworn in to their respective duties.

“Getting additional Church officers, especially that of the overseers, is important. They will help be of help in teaching, guiding, and leading the brethren in their services to God,” Brother Samson said.

In the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ), before being entrusted with a Church duty, brethren who respond to the call to accept one are taught not only Bible-based lessons on the qualities God seeks among the officers in His nation but also the ways in order to effectively fulfill their duties. — With reports from INC News Section
