To scout for talented singers in the district as well as to further promote original Iglesia Ni Cristo music, the Ecclesiastical District of Pampanga West in the Philippines hosted the Songs of Faith, Love, and Hope (SOFLAH) district finals held on August 15, 2021. SOFLAH is a singing competition in the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) for the Christian Family Organizations (CFO) members.

Prior to the event, winners in the local levels pre-selected a song from the Iglesia Ni Cristo original music compilation which they will present for the district finals. Although unable to gather in person in a single venue because of the quarantine measures in place in the province of Pampanga,  the brethren were still able to participate through videoconferencing.

“The activity is part of the online competitive activities launched by the Church Administration for CFO members that comprise five categories namely the Children’s Worship Service (CWS) or Pagsamba ng Kabataan (PNK), Buklod, KADIWA, Binhi, and Elderly,” said Hefferson Hipolito, CWS district chairperson.

He added, “All the brethren in these organizations gathered united, and helped one another to conduct this kind of activity starting from the audition in various local congregations up to the district finals.”

“Even in this time of the pandemic, we continuously encourage the brethren from the CFO to developed their unity and participation in all Church activities by showing their talents and skills through singing,” said Orlando Macaspac Jr., Buklod district president.
