The Ecclesiastical District of Paniqui, Tarlac, in coordination with the Social Services Office (SSO) of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ), hosted a blood donation activity on March 25, 2022. It was held in a rented venue at Ramos, Tarlac, Philippines.
Brethren from various local congregations actively participated in the socio-civic activity.
“I decided to volunteer right after I heard the Church Administration’s instruction regarding this activity. It feels so gratifying whenever I’m of help to those in need,” said Jasmin Ignacio, one of the donors.
Officers from the SSO as well as the district’s Christian Medical Dental and Paramedical Society (CMDPS) were on-site. Before being cleared to donate blood, Church members first underwent assessment. Brother Ernesto Tablan, district Christian Family Organizations (CFO) overseer, supervised the activity.
“Donating blood has become a part of my life as I’ve been used to doing so since 2007. As long as my body allows, I will volunteer,” said Baltazar Lacuesta Jr., a doctrinal instructee. — With reports from INC News Section
