Brethren from the Local Congregation of Parang, Ecclesiastical District of Maguindanao, Philippines held a “Welcome, My Brethren” activity for the new members in Barangay Igabay, Municipality of Balabagan on April 18, 2021.

Together with the prospective members, the attendees enjoyed dance and musical performances of Iglesia Ni Cristo original music by selected brethren. They also happily participated in various games prepared by the Church officers.

“We, Church officers, conducted devotional prayers to God to help us succeed in this activity for the new and the prospective members in this barangay. Also, the brethren actively responded especially the KADIWA officers who prepared the entertainment program,” Arnold Torres, the local congregation’s head deacon, explained.

A part of the program was a video presentation of some converts and their testimonies in joining the Church Of Christ.

The brethren also gave goodwill bags to the attendees.

Alfie Martinez, a prospective member, expressed, “I thank the Lord God because He allowed the propagational efforts [of the Church Of Christ] to reach our place. I also thank the brethren for their perseverance in going to this place, even if it is far from their homes.” — With reports from INC News Section
