Putting a premium on their children’s welfare, Christian parents from the Ecclesiastical District of Bataan in the Philippines had their competence in child care enhanced during a conference they attended on February 5, 2023.

Children’s Worship Service (CWS) officers joined them as they could greatly benefit as well from the discussions whose main topic was basic child psychology, deemed to be helpful in fulfilling their duties.

The attendees gathered in their respective houses of worship and connected to the host site, the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Balanga.

Jenica Marie Baluyot, licensed psychologist and finance officer from the Local Congregation of Sabatan, served as resource speaker. She discussed about raising children properly, encouraging the parents to utilize correct discipline while also recognizing their child’s various needs.

Brother Emmanuel Lomat, district counselor, gave biblical advice afterwards. He reminded the parents of their duty of bringing up and molding their children into active members of the Church Of Christ. For the CWS officers, he relayed the Church Administration’s expectation of them to guide the children in conducting the proper way of worshiping God. — With reports from INC News Section
