KADIWA members from the Local Congregation of Taipei City and Keelung City Group Worship Service (GWS), Ecclesiastical District of Taiwan, watched online the short film “Perfect Timing” on June 15, 2021.
The film is about a couple, Gelo and Lara (played by real-life husband and wife Cholo and Ara Dayrit), whose wedding plans were put on hold due to the pandemic. Produced by The KADIWA Show Online and directed by Ara David Dayrit, the film intends to remind KADIWA members of the importance of preparing for a bright future and being blessed by God as they enter married life.
“This activity helps guide KADIWA members in making decisions for them to have a good future and to remain in their divine election. It also promotes Christian values for us to be more active in our services to the Lord God,” Brother Hasdrubal Diasanta, resident minister, explained.
The film highlighted the value of being prayerful and faithful to the Lord God, especially during times of trial, even in one’s romantic relationship.
“It is important for us to believe in the power and in what our Lord God can do for us through ardent devotional prayers,” Mark Aljohn Valdez, a local KADIWA officer, said. “If a relationship is going through trials, I believe this is because of the Father’s love and concern, He wants that all be fulfilled in our life in the right time, in accordance to His will.”
“We are very thankful to the Church Administration for allowing us to have this kind of activity in the KADIWA organization and because most of the members here in our place are far away from their families,” Brother Diasanta added. — With reports from INC News Section
