To help the youth in the Ecclesiastical District of Thailand learn more about personality, the district’s KADIWA leadership sponsored a webinar dubbed “Identifying Personality”on August 15, 2021.
A registered life coach from the Local Congregation of Muntinlupa, Ecclesiastical District of Metro Manila South in the Philippines, Melissa Acido, served as speaker.Through videoconferencing, she explained that personality can be defined as the pattern of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors unique to an individual. She also shared with the attendees the different types of personalities and as well as the benefits of knowing what kind of personality one has. “One benefit of understanding and knowing our personality is self-awareness … in terms of our likes and dislikes, strengths and weaknesses,” Melissa explained.
In the course of the activity, the attendees took a personality test and afterwards enthusiastically participated in the Q and A portion of the seminar. Melissa reminded the brethren that “although we have personality differences, the best thing that we must always remember is our love for the brethren, love for the Church, and love for our Almighty God.”
“Thank you very much Brother Eduardo V. Manalo for approving this activity in our district. I appreciate the wonderful topic that was discussed to us. I learned that understanding our own personality type will help us understand other people as well,” said Jenny Quiñones, a Church officer from Bangkapi, Thailand Local Congregation.
At the conclusion of the activity, Brother Jules Tac-an, a ministerial worker from Phuket, Thailand Local Congregation, reminded the brethren to be strong in facing the pandemic and to strengthen their faith in all circumstances. — With reports from INC News Section
