“The blood donation [drive] is very timely so we would like to thank the Church Of Christ for organizing it,” Julieth Ohuesaho said of the blood donation drive that the Local Congregation of Port Moresby, PNG, Ecclesiastical District of Australia West conducted on September 25, 2022.

“Without all of you, this day will not be a success. We are very happy that many came here because it will help many of the patients,” Ohuesaho, a Blood Bank nursing officer from the Port Moresby General Hospital (PMGH), added.

The PMGH Blood Bank benefited from the blood donation drive which was held in collaboration with the Filipino Association of Papua New Guinea (FAPNG). The humanitarian activity took place in the association’s clubhouse along Geauta Drive, Gordons, Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea.

“This blood donation drive of the Iglesia Ni Cristo will go a long way,” Maveric Soriano of the FAPNG enthused.

“Through the activity, not only our countrymen, but also majority of the community here in Port Moresby will benefit from the blood supply we’ve collected,” said Anne Suplac, a FAPNG officer.

“The blood donation is another expression of the Church’s willingness to be of humble help to the community,” said Brother Mark Jayson Montes, resident minister. “We thank Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, our Executive Minister, for approving this kind of activity as well as Brother Angelo Eraño V. Manalo, Christian Family Organizations (CFO) Coordinator.” — With reports from INC News Section
