Brethren from the Port Moresby Congregation, in Papua New Guinea, eagerly participated in a Fun Walk and Pasugo drive activity on August 14, 2022. Led by Brother Regino Manangan Jr., the resident minister, the combined edification and propagational endeavor gave the brethren a chance to do a form of physical exercise and share the true faith as well.

The day’s activity began with the Fun Walk. Brethren, together with some guests, first gathered at the city’s Harborside Downtown and then leisurely walked to Era Kone Ela Beach—a stretch of approximately 1.5 kilometers. When they arrived at the popular tourist attraction, they took a breather before proceeding to hand out copies of Pasugo: God’s Message magazine to other visitors.

“Such an activity strengthens the brethren’s bond and makes them steadfast, and active in the faith,” said Brother Manangan. “As God’s elect—people expected to strive in holiness—helping in the work of propagation is one of the many Church activities the brethren are expected to unite with.”

“Not only were we able to show the unity inside the Church Of Christ, we also had the chance to exercise, which is good for our health,” said Pablo de Guia Jr., a deacon.

“My friends, who are members of the Church, invited me to this activity. This is my first time to go out with them and I found it a pleasant experience. I love being outside and doing anything physical,” said Mai Huang, one of the guests in the activity. “The unity among the members, as they joyously participated in the activity, is clearly evident.” — With reports from INC News Section
