Inspired by God’s teachings they are continually taught, Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members from the local congregations of Port Moresby and Lae City, Ecclesiastical District of Australia West welcomed 2022 by holding outreach-evangelical missions.

On January 2, 2022 Brother Romeo Beltran, district supervising minister, led the activity in Port Moresby. After his inspirational lecture, Brother Regino Manangan Jr., resident minister, led the giving of relief packages to the guests, as well as the brethren.

“Many don’t have formal jobs to sustain their livelihood,” said Madeline Maita, a Church officer. “This assistance will go a long way.”

A week later, on January 9, Brother Edmark Velasco, ministerial worker, led the outreach-evangelical mission at Backroad Malahang, Lae City. He taught a lesson about the opportunity God is giving so that man will be saved: by looking for and entering the true Church to attain salvation on Judgment Day. Afterwards, he led the handing out of the relief packages prepared by the brethren for the guests.

Seeing the positive impact of the said activities, the brethren in both congregations expressed their conviction that they will all the more praise God by continually uniting with Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, Executive Minister of the Church Of Christ, no matter what. — With reports from INC News Section
