Brethren from the Local Congregation of Port Moresby and Madang Group Worship Service (GWS), Ecclesiastical District of Australia West marked the 106th anniversary of the Church Of Christ by extending love and generosity to others. On July 27, 2020, each group of faithful proclaimed the pure gospel of salvation and gave humanitarian aid to their fellowmen.

The brethren from Madang traveled by sea to reach their evangelical mission’s venue, which is a small community in Kranket Island, off the eastern coast of Papua New Guinea. The Wyndham Local Congregation, and two other GWS, Winchelsea and Warrnambool, participated via live videoconferencing. Brother Manuel Villapañe Jr., minister of the gospel, led the study of God’s words.

For their part, the brethren from Port Moresby shared the Good News of salvation to their neighbors and friends in the National Capital District through the preaching of Brother Regino Manangan Jr., minister of the gospel.

Afterwards, Church members from both Port Moresby and Madang offered free medical service as well as food packages to the individuals and families in Kranket and the National Capital District, to support their daily needs and necessities during this global crisis. ― With reports from INC News Section
