With the theme “God’s Elect Strive to Live in Holiness,” the poster making activity that the Local Congregation of Winnipeg North, Ecclesiastical District of Manitoba, Canada, hosted on January 29, 2023 for the children members encouraged them to exhibit their creativity.

Guided by the Children’s Worship Service (CWS) officers, the young members drew what they deemed best depicts the current theme of the activities of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ). Some of them illustrated the Church’s houses of worship while others drew the Church’s seal.

“I feel happy that we were all able to get together because of this poster making activity, and I’m also happy that we were able to unite with the Church Administration,” Eret Saren, one of the participants, said.

This activity also became an instrument to establish the friendship between the young participants.

“I believe it’s important for the young brethren in the CWS to participate in this activity to strengthen their bond together as brothers and sisters in the faith,” Everson Alvarez, CWS teacher explained.

“So as they grow up in this world, in the midst of many difficulties and temptations, they will have friends inside the Church, they will rely on each other, will have the same level of faith, in order that they can help each other along the way,” he added.

As the Church’s next generation, the children who participated in this activity continue to hold on firmly to their divine election as they grow up.

As Eret Saren declared, “I promise to Almighty God that I will always attend the worship service and will always remain faithful to Him and to His holy Church. I also promise that I will always submit to the Church Administration.” – With reports from INC News Section
