Having learned the words of God and completed all the requirements in the process of joining the Church Of Christ, the candidates for baptism in the Ecclesiastical District of Cotabato North finally received their much-awaited baptism on December 24, 2021, at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Kidapawan.

During the baptismal service, Brother Jesus Berte, the assistant district supervising minister, preached about the importance of receiving the true baptism, that which makes one a member of the body of Christ—the true Church Of Christ. He emphasized that through baptism, not only does one receive the forgiveness of their sins but most importantly, the hope of salvation come Judgment Day.

Afterwards, the candidates for baptism took their oath of membership, which included their promise to be completely obedient to the commandments of God as long as they live.

“I am truly glad that I am now a member of the Church Of Christ. I will also encourage my loved ones to come into the true faith,” said Janice Edar, one of the newly baptized members. — With reports from INC News Section
