Embracing God’s truth that salvation can be found only in the Church Of Christ, doctrinal instructees and candidates for baptism from the Local Congregation of Gen. T. De Leon, Ecclesiastical District of CAMANAVA spearheaded an evangelical mission on June 17, 2022.

“The evangelical mission spearheaded by those who are in the process of joining the Church is a manifestation that they truly understand the importance of the Church Of Christ in attaining salvation. That’s why they are eager to share the true teachings they’ve learned inside the Church,” enthused Brother Jay-ar Reboquiao, assistant pastor of the Gen. T. De Leon Congregation.

Even though they are not yet baptized, the prospective members showed their faith through their unity in the intensive work of propagation. They invited many people, their loved ones and friends included, in the congregation’s house of worship to listen to God’s teachings upheld by the Church Of Christ.

“I strive to persuade others to join the Church because I firmly believe that when one is a member of the Church Of Christ, he will be saved,” said Ponciano Umali, a candidate for baptism.

Asked what made him decide to pursue becoming a member of the Church, another prospective member, Edrizalde Abanilla Jr., “The teachings are based in the Holy Scriptures. No more, no less.”

The study of God’s words was led by Brother Glicerio Santos III, a minister of the gospel. In his Bible-based preaching, he emphasized that God promises His abundant blessings, most important of which is salvation on Judgment Day, to his people—in these last days the members of the Church Of Christ.

“I learned, from the evangelical mission, the importance of obedience to God’s commands written in the Bible [to be saved],” Alexandrealyn Abanila, a guest, said. — With reports from INC News Section
