Brethren from Pundakit Extension, Ecclesiastical District of Zambales South in the Philippines received spiritual inspiration on the inaugural worship service in their new barangay chapel on January 27, 2021.

They formerly attended worship services at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of San Antonio.

“It is a great blessing that the Church Administration approved this extension and it is the fulfillment of the brethren’s prayer to have a new house of worship. This will inspire them to further unite in the intensive works of the Church,” said Brother Aljon Rex Abadecio, resident ministerial worker.

The Church continues to construct houses of worship, not only for the brethren to conduct worship services near their homes, but most importantly, to obey God’s command to build Him a house where He will be glorified.

“We are very happy because a new house of worship was built for us,” Rodrigo Agasa, a deacon from the newly formed extension, expressed.

Brother Rodrigo Reyes, district supervising minister, led the preaching of God’s words wherein he emphasized through the Bible the importance of the Lord God’s teachings upheld by the Church Of Christ, one of which is giving importance to the house of worship that gives glory to God.

“The house of worship is important to Church Of Christ members because in here, they conduct the true worship to the true God and glorify His name. Also, they go to this place to pray to God and ask for the solution to their problems, when they go through trials and hardships. Here, they ask God for His mercy and help, for the strength to uphold their services to Him,” said Brother Reyes.

The Church Administration continues to oversee the spiritual needs of the brethren to maintain their zeal in serving God.

“We joyfully thank the Lord God and the Church Administration for this beautiful house of worship. We promise to unite in all the activities of the Church,” Brother Reyes added. — With reports from INC News Section
