On February 25, 2022, the Christian Medical Dental and Paramedical Society (CMDPS) officers of the Ecclesiastical District of Quezon City in the Philippines celebrated their organization’s third anniversary by conducting a free medical mission and Aid to Humanity at the compound of the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Capitol.
“CMDPS officers prepared for this activity. Fellow brethren who are doctors, and nurses, among other paramedical personnel, also joined us,” said Dr. Flor Munsayac, CMDPS president from the Local Congregation of Nagkaisang Nayon.
Free consultation was offered by the volunteers; free medicines were provided. Relief packages containing rice and canned goods were also distributed, benefiting both Church members and nonmembers.
“It is our pleasure to offer our professional services. We look forward for more activities like this,” said Dr. Frederick Agustin, CMDPS officer from the Local Congregation of Zabarte. “We thank the Lord God for this significant day. We thank also our Executive Minister for providing us this opportunity to once again be of assistance to our fellowmen, who are in need of medical attention.”
Brother Wilson Cayago, district supervising minister, oversaw the event. Brother Paul Bryan Reyes, district Christian Family Organizations (CFO) overseer, who was also present at the activity, said, “The Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ), led by Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, our Executive Minister, conduct socio-activities like this to obey God’s command of helping our fellowmen … especially our brethren who use their life and strength mostly in serving God.” — With reports from INC News Section
