When Brother Rufo Loterte, a head deacon, learned that a Pasugo distribution drive would be conducted in their local congregation in commemoration of the 107th anniversary of the Church Of Christ, he enthusiastically led the brethren in preparing the Church reading materials that they would be handing out. “We organized the copies of the Pasugo magazine and made sure that everything is ready come the day of the activity,” he said.

On July 27, 2021, in the Quezon East Ecclesiastical District in the Philippines, led by the Quezon Congregation’s resident minister, Brother Billy de Jesus, Church officers and brethren spread out in Barangay 6, Quezon, Quezon Province to distribute copies of the Pasugo: God’s Message magazine to every household and resident.

Brother Loterte said that aside from handing out Pasugo magazine to his fellowmen, he would continue inviting and bringing them to the Church’s Bible studies and worship services so that they could “gain additional knowledge about God’s teachings.”

“In unity with the Church Administration and in obedience to God’s command to share our faith, I participated in this activity,” said Sister Myra Soriano, the congregation’s head secretary. She added that it was made more memorable because “it was held the day we commemorated the anniversary of the Church.”

“We firmly believe that this activity is an effective tool in giving many people an opportunity to know more about the Church Of Christ and the teachings of God that we faithfully uphold,” enthused Brother de Jesus. “Through the guidance of our district supervising minister, Brother Daniel Solano Jr., this is also a great way to commemorate the anniversary of the Church.”

Health and safety protocols were observed during the propagational activity even as the entire Quezon Province is already under General Community Quarantine (GCQ). — With reports from INC News Section
