In line with the upcoming 60th founding annivesary of  Buklod—the organization for married couples in the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ)—the Ecclesiastical District of Quezon City held a Buklod Night last November 13, 2022 at the lobby of the EVM Convention Center (EVMCC), along Central Avenue in Quezon City, Philippines.

The activity gave a chance for married couples from various local congregations in the district to spend an evening together in a formal dinner graced with songs and surprises that celebrate the blessedness of marriage.

“My husband and I are so happy and excited to participate in this Church’s event. We truly treasure this moment especially that it is our first time attending such an activity,” said Lyris Simbulan from the Local Congregation of Cubao. “This truly strengthened our love and tie with each other,” she added.

“We’ve been 56 years in marriage already. This would not be possible if God did not bless our union,” shared by Brother Benjamin Delos Reyes, minister of the gospel and an instructor in the Iglesia Ni Cristo School for Ministers (INC-SFM). “The secret to a successful marriage is to have faith in God; to take care of our divine election; and to truly love each other,” he added.

Brother Danilo Gala Jr., the assistant district supervising minister, said, “We are thankful to the Church Administration for this kind of activity in the Church. It truly brought inspiration to all those who attended the event.”―With reports from INC News Section
