After a year of renovation works, the refurbished chapel of the Local Congregation of Looc, in the Ecclesiastical District of Romblon, on October 15, 2022 was dedicated to the Lord God for the worship of His Name.
The district supervising minister, Brother Allan Ladera, officiated at the special worship for the dedication. In his Bible-based sermon, he underscored that taking care of the house of worship is the will of God and is pleasing to Him especially since it is used mainly for the true worship of Him during which He pours out on them abundant spiritual graces.
Blessed to witness the momentous occasion, Dionisio Rios, one of the congregation’s pioneering members, said, “It’s important to have this new house of worship to all the more fulfill our obligations to God. This is also where we can pray to Him and render our worship to the Lord.”
As the resident minister, Brother Marem Male promised, “I will lead the brethren in giving importance to the house of worship that we were blessed with by God through the Church Administration.”
“We thank and praise God for all the blessings He continues to bestow in our district. Despite the widespread poverty, the Church Of Christ never cease to construct and renovate houses of worship all over the world,” said Brother Ladera in an interview.
Aside from the CCTV camera system, a Johannus Organ, a videoconferencing, sound, and fire alarm systems were also installed in the 120-seater house of worship. The pastoral house was also refurbished. In addition, a new guard house was also built inside the chapel compound.
