To commemorate the 49th anniversary of their organization, KADIWA members from the Ecclesiastical District of Rizal, in Luzon, Philippines, attended a special gathering on October 17, 2022.
Three houses of worship were designated by the district leadership as venues for the said special gathering “so that KADIWA members from neighboring local congregations can attend the special gathering together,” attested Brother Noer Landas, the Christian Family Organizations (CFO) district overseer.
The house of worship of the Local Congregation of EGM served as the host site from where Brother Edwin Alcantara, district supervising minister, officiated at the gathering; the two remote sites where his preaching was beamed live were the houses of worship of the local congregations of Angono and Rodriguez.
“In the special gathering, we reminded the attendees about the objective of the Church Administration in establishing their organization. We reiterated to them that the KADIWA organization is there to take care of them, ensuring that they are strengthened in the faith and remain united with the Church Administration. We encouraged them to actively participate in all Church activities,” Brother Alcantara said.
“I’m thankful for this wonderful opportunity to attend this special gathering,” Eden Ganan, a KADIWA member from the Local Congregation of Barcelona, expressed. “We, in the KADIWA organization, were reminded to safeguard our divine election. We were also encouraged to be active in fulfilling our duties in our family organization,” she added. — With reports from INC News Section
