“God commands us to bear fruits as Church members. So, I strive to invite other people to listen to His words for them to be saved,” said Maria Luisa Zapanta, a Church officer from the FYM Avenue Congregation in the Rizal Ecclesiastical District.

Such active response of the brethren from that district to the call of the Church Administration for the intensive propagation of the true gospel continues to bear abundant fruits as shown by another baptism, which was held on October 20, 2021.

Together with the brethren who guided them in searching for the truth, the prospective members gathered at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Angono for the baptismal service during which they received further instruction in the faith from the district supervising minister.

Through the Bible, Brother Virgilio del Rosario Sr. emphasized to the candidates for baptism how important it is that they hold on firmly to their membership in the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) and completely obey God’s teachings. By doing so, he enlightened them, they will be certain of the greatest reward when the appointed day comes—eternal life in the Holy City.

Ma. Teresa Rivera, one of the newly baptized members, said, “It is only here in the Church Of Christ where I feel the presence of God in my life.”

Ferly de Guzman, a Church officer from the Rodriguez Congregation, was instrumental to the conversion of one of the newly baptized brethren. She said, “I am very glad because the teachings of God taught to them were instilled deeply in their hearts.” When asked about the reason she continually share her faith, she responded, “It is my desire for them to know the true Church and will altogether live in the Holy City promised to us.”

“With the leadership of the ministers, ministerial workers, and Church officers in the district, we will continue uniting with the Church Administration in this holy endeavor of propagating God’s words,” Brother del Rosario, promised. — With reports from INC News Section
