Along with Covid-19 patients needing medical attention are emergency cases where blood supply is essential. To be of help, the Ecclesiastical District of Rizal East conducted a blood drive on January 12, 2021.

The district Christian Family Organizations (CFO) overseer, Brother Willie Serioza, led the humanitarian activity held at Barangay Pinugay Covered Court, in which many brethren volunteered as blood donors.

Brother Serioza said that they conducted this activity “to help our fellowmen who are in need of blood, as [extending help to others] is one of God’s commandments.”

Officers from the district’s Christian Medical Dental and Paramedical Society (CMPDS) made sure that the donors were Covid-19 negative as well as without co-morbidities.

The donor-brethren said that they will remain to be united with the Church Administration in charitable activities, among other Church works that redound to the glory of the Almighty God. — With reports from INC News Section
