The Rjukan Group Worship Service (GWS) in the Ecclesiastical District of Northern Europe conducted on March 27, 2022 an Aid to Humanity for the benefit of their fellow townspeople.

“It’s our way of showing concern to our fellowmen, especially now that there is a pandemic, while we also share our faith which is, and far more, important,” Emilio Anor, congregation’s head deacon, said of the charitable event they held at the Tinn Kommunale Voksenopplæringssenter at Sam Eydes Gate 103.

Located at Gyvingjordet 34, Svadde in Rjukan, that is the capital and administrative center of Tinn Municipality in Norway’s Telemark region, the GWS’s place of worship is about three kilometers away from the said place.

Brother Paulo Guarin, the resident minister, took opportunity to introduce the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) to the beneficiaries. He enlightened them on the Church’s basis for holding Aid to Humanity events in various places all over the world, which is Christian charity as taught in the Bible. Afterwards, he led the brethren in handing over the care packages, which contained several food items including instant noodles, biscuits, and chocolates, among others. — With reports from INC News Section
