In the finals of “Mr. and Mrs. Chef” in the Ecclesiastical District of Italy South held on October 9, 2022, Adolfo and Herminia Carpio, the representatives of the Local Congregation of Roma Sud, won the top spot.

Like other contestants, the couple worked hand in hand in preparing an appetizer, main dish, and dessert. They wowed the judges and spectators alike with their Zucchini flower in batter with tuna and eggs stuffed with avocado and tuna, fried chicken fillet with creamy broccoli sauce, and Yema (egg yolk) Tart.

“The couples’ talent and unity with the Church Administration shone in this activity,” Brother Michael Pineda, district Christian Family Organizations (CFO) overseer, said. “We thank the Church Administration for launching activities that edify the relationship of Buklod members, further encouraging families in the Church to be more active in the faith.”— With reports from INC News Section
