Brethren from Salerno Group Worship Service (GWS), Ecclesiastical District of Italy South commemorated their 8th anniversary first and foremost by offering praises and thanks to the Lord God for His abiding grace to them.

For this they held a special gathering at a function hall of the Grand Hotel Salerno on August 28, 2021, which was officiated at by Brother Herbert Taguines, minister of the gospel and the district secretary.

In his Bible-based homily, Brother Taguines taught the brethren to confidently face the problems and difficulties by continuing to faithfully serve and worship the Lord who can truly help them as His servants. He encouraged them thus to have full trust and faith in Him, for He will grant the desires of their hearts especially in their service of Him.

Before the GWS was established, the brethren living in Salerno had to travel to Naples, around 60 kilometers distant, to attend worship services. Eight years hence, they thanked and praised the Lord God for all the victories He bestowed on works of the Church in their city, leading to the significant growth not only in their number but most specially in their spiritual life.

“We were able to do all these [Church endeavors] only with the help of our Lord God. It is Him Who has placed the Church Administration that continuously guides us not only in being law-abiding citizens but above all in being faithful doers of God’s will regardless of what happens,” said Brother Gerome Moratalla, evangelical worker and the district chronicler. — With reports from INC News Section
