“Despite the pandemic, activities for the CWS members continue in our district,” said Ryan Paul Cruz, a CWS president from the Local Congregation of Lunec, Ecclesiastical District of San Carlos City, Pangasinan, Philippines.

He shared that the Children’s Worship Service (CWS) members in their district held a film showing activity on August 28, 2021. The children, he said, watched the INCinema-produced short film “Summer Break,” whose story was written in such a way as to reinforce in them the value of friendship as well as other Christian virtues.

The CWS members watched the film from the comfort of their homes together with their parents.

“This film showing was successfully conducted during which the children learned good manners, conduct, and Christian values,” Cruz added.

Nicole Padilla, a CWS member from Minien Local Congregation, said, “I learned in watching the film that I should not lie and I should be obedient to my parents.”

Expressing the collective promise of the CWS officers, Jelien Nava said, “We will all the more care and lead the children in their active services to our Lord God.” — With reports from INC News Section
