“Ecclesiastical districts must be well taken care of, which is why district offices are important—these are the extensions of the Iglesia Ni Cristo Central Office,” said Brother Wilfredo J. Gonzales, supervising minister of the Ecclesiastical District of San Pablo City, Laguna in the Philippines. On September 17, 2021, he led the inauguration of the district’s new office building.
Facing Sampaloc Lake, the four-storey edifice is situated within the compound of the house of worship of the Local Congregation of San Pablo City, along P. Gomez St., Barangay IV-B, San Pablo City.
“This is a blessing indeed for our district. The district office used to share space with the local secretariat office of the San Pablo Local Congregation,” said Brother Michael Pelaez, the district Christian Family Organizations (CFO) overseer.
The district’s having its very own office building was “a welcome development as it provides a more conducive working area for the district staff and the volunteer workers in the different departments,” he added.
Brother Gonzales led fellow ministers, ministerial workers, and Church volunteer workers as he toured and inspected every office space in the newly inaugurated edifice. Other brethren joined via virtual tour.
“Its construction started last year. With God’s help, it was not hindered despite the current pandemic crisis,” said Brother Gonzales. He added, on behalf of the district, “We thank God and the administration He placed in the Church, led by the Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo. Through God’s instrumentality of them, we were gifted a new district office.” — With reports from INC News Section
