Brethren from Santiago SM Extension, Ecclesiastical District of Cagayan West in the Philippines, recently received a great gift from the Lord God—a new barangay (village) chapel. On February 14, 2020, they held their inaugural worship service there, with some members from the Local Congregation of Sanchez Mira, from which the extension emanated.
The district supervising minister, Brother Faustino Lelis, officiated at the holy gathering. He reminded everyone that, as Judgment Day gets nearer, they should not be distracted by material things. Instead, they must strive to reach spiritual maturity by upholding a Christian way of life.
Some elderly brethren enthused their thanks to God and to the Church Administration for providing them a house of worship that is more accessible to them. Devoted in worshiping God, they promised that they will be all the more active in serving the Lord God as they do not have to walk for hours anymore to reach the place of worship. — With reports from INC News Section
