On August 16, 2021, the Aid to Humanity project of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) reached the coastal Barangay of Malusac, Sasmuan, Pampanga, Philippines through the Local Congregation of Sasmuan, Ecclesiastical District of Pampanga West.

Church officers led by the resident ministerial worker, Brother Jerome Pelayo, handed over relief packages to Church members and nonmembers. They strictly followed the health and safety protocols implemented by the local government.

“Thank you very much to our Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, who tirelessly looks after our needs, especially in this time of pandemic crisis,” said Virginia Casupanan.

As Barangay Malusac is a coastal village, the residents’ main source of livelihood is fishing. But the recent incessant rains and the current pandemic crisis have adversely affected their means of livelihood. They were grateful to the Church and its members for reaching out at their place. — With reports from INC News Section
