A blood donation activity was held on March 2, 2021 at the Barangay Hall of Tinago, Naga City. It was jointly sponsored by the Society of Communicators and Networkers International (SCAN) and the Christian Medical Dental and Paramedical Society (CMDPS) in the Ecclesiastical District of Naga City, Camarines Sur.

Held in commemoration of SCAN’s 32nd anniversary and CMDP’s 2nd anniversary, the activity sought to help people in need of blood transfusion, especially in this time of the pandemic.

The donors underwent medical check-ups and examinations to qualify. CMDPS members helped in medical preparations while the SCAN members assisted in implementing health and safety protocols.

Leo Collao, team leader and the blood bank officer of the Bicol Medical Center, said that a total of 52 bags of blood were donated.

Motivated by their aim to show their unity with the Church Administration, the brethren-volunteers promised to continue actively participating in all Church activities. ― With reports from INC News Section
