Living up to their organization’s motto “Saving lives is our priority,” members of the Society of Communicators and Networkers, International (SCAN) from the  Ecclesiastical District of Taiwan, spearheaded a blood donation drive from December 24 to 30, 2022.

In between the said dates, SCAN members from various local congregations, choosing a time convenient for them, voluntarily went to a designated blood center near their respective congregation for the aforementioned humanitarian activity. Other brethren joined them in donating the blood.

“The fact that I can help save a person’s life by donating blood motivated me to participate in this activity; all for the glory of the Lord God,” said Mar Michael Nodora, SCAN president from the Local Congregation of Baoshan. “Thank you to the Church Administration for giving us this great opportunity to help our fellowmen.”

One of the two districts in the country, the Taiwan District comprises 21 congregations and several group worship services and extensions in the northern part of this island country in Southeast Asia. — With reports from INC News Section
