To help in maintaining and caring for the environment, officers and members of the Society of Communicators and Networkers International (SCAN) from the Local Congregation of Milan, Ecclesiastical District of Italy North spearheaded a clean-up drive on March 19, 2023.
Starting from the vicinity of their place of worship situated along Via Privata Galeno, Milan, Italy, the SCAN members and other brethren went on to clear the neighboring streets, such as Via Fortezza and Via Soffredini, of litter and debris, which they then disposed of accordingly.
“Some of our neighbors were not remiss in commending our efforts either as they walk by or as we clean their houses’ façade,” said Rey Guevarra, SCAN congregation president. “But with or without such compliments, it’s a chance for us, SCAN officers, to collectively show our concern not only to our surroundings but, most especially, to the place of worship.” — With reports from INC News Section
