To promote an active and healthy lifestyle, Society of Communicators and Networkers International (SCAN) from the Local Congregation of Xinzhuang, Ecclesiastical District of Taiwan spearheaded a biking activity on March 21, 2021.
Before setting out, the SCAN members and other brethren first received instructions and precautionary measures for road safety including the health protocols against the pandemic. For this, they gathered at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Xinzhuang. Before they left the building, they prayed to the Lord God to seek guidance and protection in their journey.
The group of cyclists headed to Datong Mountain―a place for hiking and cycling where people usually go along the top of a ridge to see excellent nature views.
“I do bike frequently. It gives me a lot of health benefits like having a healthy mind and body. It also served as my outlet for fun while staying in Taiwan,” said Marcial Candalera, SCAN congregation president.
Richard Eteroza, SCAN member, said, “This activity gave the brethren a quality time to bond with one another and strengthened their faith.” ― With reports from INC News Section
