On October 2, 2022, secretariat officers from various local congregations across the Ecclesiastical District of Western Europe attended a special gathering during which they were reminded, through the Bible, how they must regard their Church duties. The gathering was officiated by Brother Marvin B. Adriano, supervising minister.

Also highlighted during the said gathering was the importance of helping in the intensified propagation of God’s words.

“I feel rejuvenated whenever performing my Church duties for I firmly believe that God is glorified as I continue doing so,” said Erma Pinto, head secretary from the Local Congregation of Versailles, France, “I will stay as role model to my fellow officers; I will continue uniting with the Church Administration.”

“Church duties come from God, which is why these must be cherished, and be fulfilled to the best of our abilities,” said Brother Daniel Eor, assistant district secretary. On behalf of the officers, he added, “The secretariat officers know full well that their labors will never be in vain. As such, they consider it a great blessing to be among the ones entrusted to be of help in the upkeep of the Church records.”

“Being a convert myself, I saw how it is truly important to lead others into the light or help them learn God’s words or truth about the true religion,” said Febeleen Calpo, a secretary in the Light of Salvation (LOS) from Marseille, France. “I believe that the Bible proves that salvation can only be attained by becoming an active member of the true Church Of Christ. I want other people to know this truth, starting with my friends and relatives who are nonmembers.”

Eduardo Bernardo, another LOS secretary from Marseille, said, “Being uplifted in the faith from time to time is a great help for me. This gathering has inspired me to remain enthusiastically fulfilling my Church duty.” — With reports from INC News Section
