
“Happiness and excitement filled the air. Everyone was willing to participate in the activities we prepared,” said Benruf Nato, a district officer in the Christian Family Organizations (CFO) said about the Ecclesiastical District of Cavite South’s celebration of its eighth anniversary.
From July 15 to 17, 2022, Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members from the district enthusiastically participated in a series of activities which enlivened their commemoration of the district’s special day.
On the first day, all the local congregations of the district simultaneously hosted evangelical missions at respective houses of worship. Ministers assigned to officiate at these propagational efforts highlighted in their preaching the indispensability of the true Church towards gaining salvation on Judgment Day. Brother Alan King G. Mercado, the district supervising minister, preached at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Paradahan.
For the next two days, brethren gathered at the Dasmariñas Arena for various fun-filled activities.
The district’s INConcert took center stage as talented brethren from various local congregations performed Iglesia Ni Cristo original music. There were solo performances, duets, and choir presentations.
Booths were set up specifically for Binhi Friendship Games, This is KADIWA, Family Photowalk, and the Trade Fair. A medical mission that provided free consultation and free medicines was also held on-site.
Cavite South District branched off from the District of Cavite. It was established as a separate district on July 14, 2014, to all the more cater to the multifarious needs of the brethren, especially their spiritual welfare. — With reports from INC News Section
