Brethren from Silverdale Group Worship Service (GWS), Ecclesiastical District of New Zealand, recognized the bravery and commitment of frontliners through an Appreciation Day on September 11, 2020.

“We conducted this Appreciation Day as part of our celebration of the anniversary of Silverdale GWS and in this way we could express our gratitude towards frontliners who work so hard during this challenging time of pandemic,” Timoteo Vivas Jr., head deacon, said.

They recorded videos showing their gratitude to the modern-day heroes and these were shown in the activity.

Through an online platform, part of the activity was the giving of certificate of appreciation to frontliners, members and nonmembers alike, acknowledging their contributions in containing the virus.

“To all frontliners, we are sending thanks and warm thoughts to all of you, we appreciate all you do, may God bless you all,” Rochelle Jovero, head secretary, expressed. — With reports from INC News Section
