On December 11, 2022, the Ecclesiastical District of Italy South hosted simultaneous special gatherings for members of the choir. In the said events, the attendees received biblical exhortation that uplifted their faith and all the more inspired them to fulfill their God-given duty.
The houses of worship of the local congregations of Rome and Lucca served as the main venues for the said special gatherings. Choir members from neighboring local congregations attended in the venue closest to them.
Brother Randy Macalinao, district supervising minister, officiated at Rome. Meanwhile, Brother Camilo Buay Jr., district committee on edification (COE) overseer, led the gathering at Lucca.
In their homily, they both taught a Bible-based lesson that highlighted a quality of true servants of God: in the face of difficulties, they remain strong in the faith; on the part of the Church officers, they never give up in devotedly fulfilling their sacred duties.
“I am grateful to the Church Administration for this gathering that is such a great upliftment as I perform my duties in the Church,” said Carmelita Terrones, choir member from the Local Congregation of Rome. — With assistance from INC News Section
