On October 30, 2022, the Local Congregation of Port Moresby, in Papua New Guinea, held a socializing activity for choir members there. The program brought delight and inspiration to the attendees.

“We’re so thankful to God for all the love, care, and inspiration. We will stay dedicated to and enthusiastic in performing our choir duties. Singing hymns of praises is our life, thus, not only a priority but also our happiness,” said Jojo Quiñola, congregation’s choir leader, on behalf of his fellow choir members.

During the activity, Brother Mark Jayson Montes, resident minister, delivered a short lecture from the Bible highlighting God’s promised safekeeping to His true servants who stay enthusiastic in serving Him despite all worries in this life. Afterwards, Joseph Cacnio, choir director of the district, gave an inspirational speech.

Choir members who have held the duty for 30 years and above were recognized during the program. The awardees included Loreen Quiñola, Jojo Quiñola, Ranel Pacheco, Dennis Tayag, Jaydee Muldong, and Dennis Guillermo.

During the socializing, select attendees performed Iglesia Ni Cristo original songs, some of which were I’m Iglesia Ni Cristo, Never Be Alone, Ipanalangin Mo (Pray about it), At All Times, Salamat Po sa Iyong Pagyakap (Thank You for Your embrace), and Share it with the World, the latter of which was even performed with a dance number.
