On September 26, 2021 the regionals of Songs of Faith, Love, and Hope (SOFLAH) singing competition brought together representatives from the Ecclesiastical Districts of Australia East, Australia West, Malaysia, Micronesia, New Zealand, Sabah, and Thailand.
“I am absolutely starstruck from all of the performances from various districts in the region. It is really inspiring to see the unity and the support from the brethren to all the performers,” said Alyssa Ventura, KADIWA officer from the Local Congregation of Townsville, Australia East.
“Participating in the activity such as SOFLAH, inspired me to attend more activities launched by the Church Administration to edify and strengthen our faith, unity, and bond of brotherhood,” Ventura added.
Brother Emmanuel Era, the assistant district supervising minister of Australia East District said, “Through the talents demonstrated by our brethren, they showed their faith, love, and hope and demonstrated how firm they are in their Church membership …”
Winners are as follows: In Buklod duet, David and Marinell Ventura from Malaysia won first place; Richard and Alma Delos Santos from Thailand, second; and David and Jenna Agamata from New Zealand, third.
In KADIWA solo singing, Veenea Nair from Malaysia took the first place; Debbie Shyne Paradela from Thailand, second; and Patricia Madronio from Australia West, third.
In Binhi solo singing, Dulce Santia from Malaysia bagged the first place; Bea Bianca Manalo from Thailand, second; and Sara Ancro from Sabah, third.
In CWS solo singing, Bocelli Reyes from Malaysia got first place; Slirah Vielle Soriano from Australia West got second; and Iya Jave Limpin from Sabah got third. ― With reports from INC News Section
