The finals of the “Songs of Salvation” Buklod Edition in the Ecclesiastical District of Quezon City was staged on September 4, 2022 at the EGM Hall of the EVM Convention Center (EVMCC), bringing inspiration to the contestants and spectators alike from various local congregations through the INC Original Music that were performed.

Lyris Simbulan, conductor of the Cubao Congregation choral group, said, “Our choral group sang ‘Paigtingin ang gawaing pagpapalaganap’ (Intensify the holy work of propagation). I believe that this song is inspiring not only for the brethren, since we know that this embodies the current intensive campaign of the Church of sharing the true faith, but inspiring also for those who are newly baptized and those in the process of joining the Church.”

“Earlier in July, our district held an elimination round, in which all local congregations participated. From them, 12 choral groups were chosen to compete in the final round,” said Brother Virgilio A. Del Rosario Sr., the district supervising minister.

Adjudged as champion in the choral competition showcasing INC Original Music was the Local Congregation of Baesa, whose choral group sang “Kumpletuhin ang takbuhin na bigay ng Diyos sa atin” (Complete the race that God has set before us).

“Through this activity, the Buklod members also had a chance to spend time with their respective spouse, further strengthening their relationship as married couples,” said Brother Del Rosario. — With reports from INC News Section
