With the increase of membership in their district, the Ecclesiastical District of Koronadal City, South Cotabato in the Philippines added new Church officers who took oath during a special gathering on January 15, 2021 to help the Church Administration in caring for the brethren.

Brother Apolinario Seacor, district supervising minister, preached the Lord God’s words. He preached in his Bible-based lesson the characteristics Church officers should possess such as being united with the Church Administration.

He also reminded the officers that whatever trials and hindrances they face in this world, they should continue to uphold the duty God entrusted to them.

Various local congregations connected through videoconferencing to the Local Congregation of Morales, the host site, to maintain physical distancing.

The holy occasion also aimed to inspire the current Church officers in fulfilling their Church duties.

“I thank God and the Church Administration for giving me this Church duty. I promise to fulfill this to the fullest of my ability,” Erlinda Tobias, a newly sworn Church officer, said.

The Church Of Christ continues to strengthen the Church officers for them to remain effective helpers in keeping the zeal of the brethren in serving God. — With reports from INC News Section
