In the Ecclesiastical District of South Korea, a total of 62 additional Church officers took their oath on December 18, 2022 right after the year-end Thanksgiving worship service of their respective local congregations and group worship services.
In every local congregation, save for Incheon-Si, the special worship service was officiated by the district staff and resident ministers, who also administered the oath taking of the new officers. The eight group worship services in the district virtually connected to the local congregation nearest to them.
The district supervising minister, Brother Roderick Yome, officiated at the Thanksgiving worship service of the Local Congregation of Icheon-si.
“I aspire to be of help to the Church Administration in taking care of the spiritual welfare of my fellow brethren, which is glorifying before God’s sight,” said Aileen Santiago, deaconess, from the Local Congregation of Paju-si. “It is fulfilling to be among those who recently took oath of duty.”
Every congregation of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) holds Thanksgiving worship service every December to honor and glorify God for His continuous guidance and blessings to the Church as a whole and to the lives of the individual members, as well. — With reports from INC News Section
