As lockdown was extended in the country, the Ecclesiastical District of Southern Africa conducted a districtwide Aid to Humanity on various days to help alleviate the plight of the affected people they could possibly reach out to.
District supervising minister, Brother Sheridohn Santos, led the many Church members who volunteered in handing over 5,000 food parcels to their fellow brethren and as well as nonmembers in need.
The recipients said they were thankful to the Church and its Administration for such a great help they received in this time of crisis. They added that this humanitarian activity has given their community hope.
As the pandemic has put many countries in Africa in a state of emergency further aggravating poverty with job loss, the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) continues to hold Aid to Humanity projects all over Africa.― With reports from INC News Section
