In keeping with the entire Church’s zeal in sharing the pure gospel of salvation with more people at every opportune time, brethren from Southern Ontario united in bringing a multitude of guests to evangelical missions held simultaneously on March 20, 2023 in eight places of worship across the district.

“The brethren are always eager to invite many people to listen to the words of God,” attested Brother Ramil Macaspac II, Christian Family Organizations (CFO) overseer in the Southern Ontario Ecclesiastical District. “When they heard the announcement about this evangelical mission, they went out to invite their friends, loved ones and colleagues.”

The local congregations that hosted the evangelical missions were Mississauga East, Mississauga West, Oakville, Brampton, London, Niagara Falls, Windsor, and Hamilton. Brethren from other local congregations brought their guests to one of these venues nearest them, while those from farther areas joined via livestreaming.

The resident minister of each hosting congregation led the study of God’s words in their respective places of worship, except for Mississauga West where Brother Leody Prudentino, resident minister of Mississauga North Congregation, served as the preacher. The ministers, in one accord, delivered a lesson about God’s will that everyone be saved by first knowing His truths written in the Bible, one of which is to join the one Church that Christ established. They thus encouraged the guests to continue listening to the biblical teachings upheld by the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ).

“I strive to invite guests because I want them to know the truth written in the Holy Scriptures. I also want them to be saved when our Lord Jesus Christ returns. I feel happy and fulfilled because I have performed my duty to our Lord God,” Maureen Lontok, choir leader from Mississauga West Congregation, said. — With reports from INC News Section
