“A great way to end our busy weekend. It is always so nice to be able to catch up with my fellow organists, and choir leaders in a more casual way. The bonding games we played brought us so much laughter and joy! I am looking forward to the next socializing,” said Mark Diaz, organist.

He was referring to the get-together activity for choir leaders from the various local congregations in the Ecclesiastical District of Southern Ontario. The activity which was envisioned to better the rapport among the said Church officers was held on January 8, 2023. It was held at the function hall of the house of worship compound of the Local Congregation of Mississauga West.

“We wanted an activity where we can relax and enjoy each other’s company through food, games, and great conversations. It was a blessing to have all of us together in one place, where laughter could be heard in every direction. I thank the Church Administration for allowing us to have an activity like this to strengthen the bond of brotherhood. This activity has rejuvenated all of us choir members to be more active in performing our duties to God,” said Deborah Bilang, district choir leader.

Before the conclusion of the activity, Brother Jay Acuña, assistant district supervising minister, relayed to the choir leaders the desire of the Church Administration that activeness of Church officers be shown in all aspects of their Church membership.
