“This is one of the best things that happened to me, to finally be a member of the true Church Of Christ,” expressed Aileen Grace Vinuya, a newly baptized member in the Ecclesiastical District of Spain. She was among those who were baptized on November 27, 2022.

The district held baptisms that day in two venues, namely, the places of worship of the Local Congregation of Ibiza and the Local Congregation of Madrid Sur. The baptismal services in the said venues were officiated at by Brother Froilan Enriquez Jr., district supervising minister, and by the Brother Harley Alcantara, assistant district supervising minister, respectively.

In their Bible-based sermons, they emphasized to the baptismal candidates that while being a member of the Church Of Christ is needed to attain everlasting life, the Lord God also requires members therein to be always obedient to His commandments, including the complete renewal of life, never neglecting the worship service, love for the brotherhood, as well as unity with the Church Administration.

“I prayed for this day to come. It’s clear in the Holy Scriptures that being a member of the true Church Of Christ ensures one’s salvation. I promise to actively uphold the doctrines taught to us by the Church Administration,” Vinuya went on to say.

“We thank the Almighty Father for helping the brethren in our district to bear fruit. The brethren in our district are happy every time they are able to obey God’s commands. We continue to promise our unconditional zeal in all the Church works being led by our beloved Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo,” Brother Alcantara said.

The District of Spain oversees 14 local congregations and 6 Group Worship Services (GWS). —With reports from INC News Section
