KADIWA and Binhi members from the Ecclesiastical District of Southern Ontario, Canada were once again edified in their faith through the words of God taught to them during a special gathering of theirs on October 31, 2021.
It was held in connection with the 48th anniversary of their respective Christian Family Organizations (CFO).
From the host site, Brother Raul Adalla, district supervising minister, delivered a Bible-based homily exhorting the young members that their joy and happiness should be in obedience to the teachings of the Lord God.
Before the sacred gathering ended, an oath-taking of new officers for the organizations was administered by Brother Reynaldo Valdez, assistant district supervising minister.
The place of worship of the Local Congregation of Mississauga East served as the host site as other young members gathered at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Mississauga West, Ontario; Niagara Falls, Ontario Local Congregation place of worship; and other remote sites via videoconferencing.
Brother Ramil Macaspac II, district Christian Family Organizations (CFO) overseer, enthused, “The youth of the Church should be strong in order to overcome the evils of this world especially now [that] we are living in dangerous and trying times, we all the more need God’s protection through our obedience to his commandments because … [this]… will make us sure that God will always answer our prayers and He will help us in our times of need,”
“It really does relate to us, the youth in the Church because, we are the future of the Church and … we do need to keep our faith strong especially because … in this world, there are a lot of things that can tempt us to go cold in our faith,” said Kashlee Caumeran, district CBI president. “But we … [should]… remember that even though there are many things that might make our life enjoyable now, [these are] nothing compared to the promises and the blessings our Father in Heaven has in store for us, if we remain inside of the Church,” she added. — With reports from INC News Section
