As part of the commemoration of the Buklod’s 59th founding anniversary, the leadership of the Ecclesiastical District of Taiwan convened special gatherings of married couples on December 28, 2021. Two schedules were allotted for the activity to comply with health and safety protocols.

Brother Mayonel Taal, the district supervising minister, and Brother Ranilo Borrero, the assistant district supervising minister, officiated the special gatherings from the place of worship of the local congregations of Taoyuan City, and Zhubei, respectively, which its members attended. The brethren from the other local congregations connected through videoconferencing.

The district supervising minister said in his homily, “Teaching of religion must begin and be learned at home. This is what the Lord God expects that the parents should do―teaching their children the ways of the Lord and becoming zealous in the faith as faithful servants of God.”

“In the Bible-based lesson, the brethren were reminded to uphold Christian values in their households as part of managing their family well. Brethren also learned the importance of spousal responsibilities in gaining trust and blessings from our Almighty God,” the assistant district supervising minister, remarked.

“Through the Buklod special gathering the Church Administration strengthened further the faith of Buklod members inside the Church Of Christ here in our district,” said Gilmore Valdez, a Church officer from the Local Congregation of Taichung City. ― With reports from INC News Section
