To further strengthen the faith of the brethren in the Ecclesiastical District of Alaminos City, Pangasinan in the Philippines, a special worship service was held in the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Hundred Islands on November 12, 2021, and was livestreamed to 53 remote sites throughout the district.
Brother Eraño Codera, a minister of the gospel in the Church’s External Affairs Office, officiated at the gathering. In his homily, he taught a Bible-based lesson about how the brethren should view and deal with the difficulties they experience in life. He also taught the brethren what God wants His servants to do if they have fallen into sin: repent and return to Him.
Through the worship service, the brethren were reminded, not only of the teachings of God, but also of the fact that the leader whom He has appointed in His nation in these last days always has their spiritual welfare in his mind and remembers them in his prayers to the Almighty Father.
“We thank the Lord God because He is using the Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo as an instrument to continue sending ministers who teach God’s words in the Church,” said Brother Elmer Abuan, resident minister of the Local Congregation of Hundred Islands.
“This worship service is a great blessing. We felt God’s power and this strengthened the faith of the brethren not only in our local congregation but also in our whole district,” he added. — With reports from INC News Section
